The Ariens APEX 52 Zero-Turn Lawn Mower is a residential zero-turn mower designed for efficient and precise lawn maintenance. Model 991159 is powered by a 23 HP Kawasaki FR691V V-Twin engine with 726cc displacement and features a 52-inch ENVY™ ELITE CUTTING SYSTEM fabricated deck constructed from 10-gauge steel.

The 52-inch cutting deck is designed with a deep profile to promote optimized airflow and consistent cutting performance. The mower provides a cutting-height range of 1.5 to 5 inches with 15 cutting positions in 1/4-inch increments, allowing the operator to select the appropriate height for different lawn conditions.

A fully welded tubular steel frame provides a strong structural foundation, while the foot-operated deck lift makes it easier to adjust the cutting height. The APEX also features a high-back 20-inch seat with armrests and ergonomically designed hand grips for improved operator comfort and control.

The mower uses Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 transmissions and provides zero-turn maneuverability with a maximum forward speed of 8 mph and reverse speed of 4 mph. An electric PTO clutch and brake engage the cutting deck, while the 5.1-gallon fuel tank provides extended operating capacity.
