The DR Power PREMIER 44T Field & Brush Mower is a heavy-duty 44-inch tow-behind mower designed for clearing thick grass, weeds, brush, and saplings. Powered by a 10.5 HP Briggs & Stratton OHV engine, the PREMIER 44T can be towed behind an ATV, UTV, or suitable tractor for efficient land and property maintenance.
Its 44-inch mulching deck uses two pivoting blades to handle demanding vegetation while helping protect the blade and spindle when an immovable obstacle is encountered. The floating deck is suspended from the frame so it can ride over uneven ground and high points, helping reduce scalping and protecting the drivetrain.
The mower’s no-tools cutting-height adjustment allows the mowing height to be set from 4 to 7.5 inches. The deck is designed to mulch cut material, while the blade extends beyond the wheelbase to make it easier to mow near fences, walls, hedgerows, and other obstacles.
A heavy-duty steel frame and 2.75-inch-thick brush bar help the PREMIER 44T push through dense vegetation before it reaches the deck. The chain debris guard helps contain material thrown forward during operation.
The PREMIER 44T uses an electric-start Briggs & Stratton engine and features a control box for starting and blade engagement. Unlike some other DR tow-behind models, the PREMIER 44T does not include a remote control.
